Terms of Use for the SirPrep Mobile App

1. About These Terms

By downloading, subscribing to, or using SirPrep, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's App Store and payment terms also apply where relevant.

2. The Service

SirPrep is a personal meal-planning app. It can create meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, cost and nutrition estimates, and related suggestions using artificial intelligence.

Most app information is stored on your device and no account is currently required. AI features, purchase validation, security, and some optional services require internet access. The features available to you may depend on your subscription and the app version.

3. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unsuitable, or unsafe. Prices, nutrition values, allergens, ingredients, cooking times, and instructions are estimates and may be wrong.

You are responsible for checking content before relying on it, especially for allergies, intolerances, medical needs, religious or ethical requirements, food safety, and significant dietary changes. Do not enter names, addresses, contact details, confidential information, or another person's sensitive information in free-text fields.

4. Not Medical Advice

SirPrep is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional dietary advice. Do not rely on it for medical decisions, allergy management, eating disorders, pregnancy or child nutrition, or other health-critical matters. Consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

5. Your Use of SirPrep

You may use SirPrep only lawfully and for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, bypass subscriptions or usage limits, use automated access, reverse engineer the app except where mandatory law permits it, or submit unlawful content or third-party personal data without permission.

You are responsible for your inputs and decisions. Local app data may be lost if you reset or delete the app, change devices, disable backups, or experience device failure.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require SirPrep Pro. Available plans, prices, billing periods, trial terms, taxes, and renewal details are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm a purchase.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account within the period shown by Apple. Deleting SirPrep does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period.

Refunds and any applicable withdrawal requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple, Apple Support, or Apple's Report a Problem service. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. The Privacy Policy is separate from these Terms. You can withdraw optional AI-personalization consent and reset locally stored app data from Settings. Resetting data does not cancel a subscription.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep SirPrep useful and available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates, service-provider failures, network problems, security measures, or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

We may improve, change, replace, limit, or discontinue features. We will not unlawfully remove essential paid functionality during an active subscription. You should install security and compatibility updates made available through the App Store.

9. Intellectual Property

SirPrep and its software, design, text, graphics, and branding are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and Apple's usage rules, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal purposes on devices you own or control.

You retain rights in information you enter. You allow us to process that information only as needed to provide and protect the service, as explained in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected. We are fully liable where required by law, including for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, product liability, guarantees, and fraudulent concealment.

For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable and typical loss. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions based on unchecked AI output, inaccurate estimates, missed allergy or food-safety checks, user-caused data loss, or temporary service interruptions.

11. Suspension and Ending Use

You may stop using SirPrep at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, misuse, or a material breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after use ends remain in effect.

12. Age, Law, and Changes to These Terms

SirPrep is not directed to children under 16. A person under 16 may use it only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms when the app, law, or business requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where required. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
